What We Need: We are looking for a Project Engineer II to support all phases of commercial interior construction projects, from preconstruction and estimating through closeout. This role will manage documentation and financials in Procore, coordinate RFIs, submittals, and procurement, and ensure clear communication with project teams and trade partners. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of project engineering experience, strong technical and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. What You’ll Do

Responsibilities: Understanding estimating processes & practices Construction document review - thorough understanding of drawings and documents Maintain a positive, proactive attitude Clear, direct, consistent verbal and written communication with trade partners, project partners, and project team Site coverage for superintendents as needed Technical Skills

Assist with set up of project folders & template documents Assist with permit process Experience with preconstruction and estimating processes Set up new projects in Procore Create electronic Superintendent Binder in Procore Manage MSA/work order process once values and scopes are approved by PM & Team Lead Create OAC agendas - reviewed by PM Create project progress photo report for OACs Document OAC meeting minutes Manage submittal process - with PM oversight Create and manage procurement log - make phone calls to trade partners weekly and twice/week to check status of products, followed by email documentation Assist with RFIs Data entry into Procore New vendor setup: ensure new vendor data is entered in MSA tracking sheet and follow up with Operations for modified MSA documents when required Send monthly % complete request/COR log to trade partners for pencils by 8th of each month with hard deadline for acknowledgement & response Create commitments and COs in Procore Reconcile financials in Procore each month prior to pencil submission to Accounting Manage Day 2 items with oversight from Team Lead Manage closeout documentation in Procore and distribution to Owner Assist with punch list documentation - iPad management on site during punch Full ability to manage financial master Full understanding of pencil draw and pay application process Develop accurate project schedules What You’ll Bring

Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Project Engineer in commercial interior construction Experience in preconstruction and estimating required Degree in construction management, architecture, or project management preferred Proficient in managing RFIs, submittals, insurance and contract administration, and document coordination. Strong technical skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and organizational skill with high attention to detail and accuracy High level of engagement and empathy-centered people management skills Compensation & Benefits
