Cardiologist
to the group at
NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health . South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor and delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services—from primary and preventive care to specialty services for children and adults—all designed to keep our community healthy.

Opportunity Details
Provide direct patient care, including inpatient consultation and outpatient cardiology clinic.
Manage noninvasive cardiac testing, such as echocardiography including TEE and cardiac stress testing.
ECG and ambulatory ECG interpretation and reporting.
Direct teaching responsibilities for cardiology fellows, as well as teaching and mentoring medical residents and medical students.
Participate in the cardiology call coverage schedule for the division.

Current Board Certification or Eligibility in Cardiology
NYS License
Active DEA license
Wages and Benefits
Annual Base Salary: $310,000 (board eligible); $320,000 (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $436,520 (board eligible) and $447,520 (board certified), which includes baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
401(k) Company Contribution: immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings; after one year of service, 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match required.
Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
Medical, Prescription, and Dental Coverage: Top-tier plans with employee contributions below market rates.
Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Coverage: 2x salary up to $300,000, provided at no cost.
