Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate outpatient
General Neurologist
to join a dynamic multispecialty subspecialist neurology group in Sugar Land, TX. The group consists of 6 physicians, 1 neuropsychologist, and 1 psychiatrist, and serves the diverse patient population of Sugar Land and the surrounding communities.

Responsibilities
Provide expert clinical care for patients with neurological conditions, including the diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of neurological conditions.
Perform comprehensive neurological evaluations, including history-taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests, to formulate accurate diagnoses and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
Provide patient education and counseling on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and care planning, involving patients and their families in decision-making processes.
Participate in departmental meetings, conferences, and multidisciplinary discussions to contribute to the collective knowledge and expertise of the neurology group.
Maintain accurate and complete electronic medical records (EMR) and comply with all hospital and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited medical school
Completion of residency in Neurology from an accredited program
Board certification or eligibility in Neurology
Valid TX medical license
Excellent clinical skills, including history-taking, physical examination, and interpretation of diagnostic tests
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
