Outpatient Psychiatry Opportunity - Toledo, Ohio
Mercy Health Physicians is seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our dedicated team within an Integrated Behavioral Health/Primary Care model. This full-time, employed position offers an exceptional opportunity to provide high-quality outpatient care in a collaborative environment.
Opportunity Details
Full-time, Monday-Friday schedule (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with a potential option for 4-day work week)
Average 10-12 patients per day
Flexibility in weekly scheduling, with some telemedicine capability for virtual visits
Ambulatory care only; no inpatient or on-call responsibilities
Integrated within 1-2 Mercy primary care offices in Toledo area
Ongoing referrals from PCP practices, with some patient panel absorption
Board Certification or Eligibility required, familiarity with integrated behavioral health preferred
Key Skills and Qualifications
Expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental health disorders
Strong communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Ability to build rapport with patients and deliver compassionate care in an outpatient setting
Familiarity with integrated care models and working within a primary care environment
Flexibility and adaptability to work with diverse patient populations
Strong documentation skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR)
Ability to effectively manage patient caseloads while maintaining high standards of care
