Overview

The Cleveland Clinic Department of Orthopaedic Surgery announces a search for an Orthopaedic Trauma surgeon to work primarily at Fairview Hospital, a Level II trauma Center. The Cleveland Clinic Department of Orthopaedic Surgery offers expert diagnosis and state-of-the-art treatment for any injury or disease of the musculoskeletal system, from simple fractures to complex adult reconstruction. We sponsor two nationally recognized orthopaedic residency programs and perform over 20,000 operative cases annually. We invite highly qualified BC/BE candidates who are committed to excellence in patient care, possess strong clinical skills and have a keen interest in teaching orthopaedic residents. A faculty appointment commensurate with experience is available at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. Responsibilities

Provide orthopedic trauma care primarily at Fairview Hospital (a Level II trauma center). Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care. Participate in on-call coverage as assigned. Engage in the teaching and supervision of orthopaedic residents. Contribute to clinical research and quality improvement initiatives as appropriate. Qualifications

Board-certified or board-eligible in orthopedic surgery (BC/BE). Strong clinical skills with a commitment to excellence in patient care. Interest in teaching orthopaedic residents. Faculty appointment commensurate with experience at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.
