Dignity Health Medical Group – Merced, a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation, is seeking a
full-time, board-certified or board-eligible gastroenterologist
to join our growing, physician-led, and mission-driven medical group in the heart of California's Central Valley. This is a unique opportunity to provide
both outpatient and inpatient care
while helping to design and develop a
Gastroenterology service line
within a highly collaborative environment. Opportunity Highlights
Full-time Gastroenterology Position : Join a
supportive and collegial
practice with opportunities to shape the GI service line. General GI Practice : Diagnose and treat a wide variety of gastrointestinal conditions, including those affecting the
esophagus, stomach, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, small intestine, and colon . Procedures & Screenings : Regular involvement in
endoscopies
and
GI screenings , along with diagnosing and managing complex GI disorders. Subspecialty Development : Opportunity to develop interests in GI subspecialties based on your career goals.
Collaborative Care Team : Work alongside a
dedicated team of primary care and specialty providers
with a strong referral network. Modern Facilities : Access to
advanced diagnostic services
and
hospital resources
at Mercy Medical Center Merced, a 186-bed not-for-profit hospital. No Hospital Inpatient Call : Enjoy
shared telephone call
responsibilities with no inpatient call requirements. Compensation & Benefits
Competitive Compensation : Salary range of
$600K - $650K
annually + productivity-based incentives. Comprehensive health benefits including 100% employer-paid medical and dental for you and your family Annual CME Allowance Malpractice insurance Generous paid time off 401(k) plan with employer matching Employer-sponsored pension plan PSLF Eligible Job Requirements
MD or DO
degree with
Board Certification
or
Eligibility in Gastroenterology . ERCP
skills preferred but not required. Active California medical license
(or ability to obtain) and DEA registration. Strong clinical and communication skills with a commitment to
