Are you looking for an opportunity to work on Booz Allen's Enterprise Organization Business Systems team responsible for operating and managing large complex corporate applications? As a Software Development Team Lead, you know the importance of designing and building applications with the right technical solution. You're eager to apply your technical skills and managerial expertise to an initiative aimed at meeting the business needs.
On our team, you'll lead a team that designs, develops, and implements custom solutions for software projects across tools, technologies, vendors, or between organizations that'll impact our core business applications. Using an agile framework, you'll lead software development engineers to design and build internal systems. You'll use your management skills to plan, organize, and lead projects that meet design specifications and standards from inception to completion.

You Have
10+ years of experience with software development, including writing enterprise grade software for large, complex applications
5+ years of experience in a software development leadership role responsible for directing, reviewing, and leading a team of software engineers
5+ years of experience with software development and engineering practices, including Agile development and managing work using JIRA
5+ years of experience in project and technical management
5+ years of experience with application integration using APIs or web application development using React, Node.js, C#, Java, or SQL
Experience in a leadership role collaborating across multiple technical groups
Ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to broad audiences
Ability to take a proactive, critical thinking approach to overcoming requirements and design challenges
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
Nice If You Have
Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipeline knowledge using Git, Jenkins, or Maven
Experience with No-Code/Low-Code platforms such as Power Platform, Appian, OutSystems, and ServiceNow
Experience with Microsoft Azure
Experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Agile Certification such as PMI-ACP

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
