We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic finance professional to oversee our company’s financial operations. This role will be responsible for financial planning, managing cash flow, supervising payroll and billing, and ensuring timely payments. The ideal candidate combines strong accounting skills with the ability to provide forward-looking financial insights that guide company decisions.
Role Description
Develop cash flow forecasts and manage working capital needs. Monitor financial performance and report variances to leadership. Provide recommendations to optimize cash position. Oversee customer billing, collections, and aging reports. Work with project managers to ensure accurate and timely invoicing. Implement process improvements for billing efficiency. Payroll & Payments
Supervise payroll processing and compliance with state/federal laws. Manage accounts payable and vendor payments. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in disbursements. Accounting & Reporting
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Coordinate with CPA on audits, tax filings, and compliance. Maintain internal controls and financial policies. Supervise finance/accounting staff (if applicable). Collaborate with operations and executive leadership to align financial strategy with business goals. Serve as a trusted advisor on financial decisions and risk management. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred). 5+ years in financial management, accounting, or controller-level role. Experience with construction/contracting or project-based accounting a plus. Strong knowledge of GAAP, cash flow management, payroll, and billing systems. Proficiency in QuickBooks, ERP, or equivalent financial software. Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills. Details
