Oracle Financials Expert - Techno-Functional
Location: US Onsite (Seattle, WA and Dallas, TX)
Responsibilities
Apply deep Oracle Financials ERP knowledge to understand end-to-end data and process flows across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Order to Cash, Device Life Cycle, Purchasing, and Expenses.
Work with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Cloud Financials to integrate with test automation tools and leverage Cloud Financials features.
Design and support data management activities for Oracle Financial ERP databases/tables/fields, including SQL/PLSQL querying to back test automation and architectural designs of test automation.
Support ETL/data extraction, transformation, and loading for designing test automation of Oracle ERP data flows; experience with ODI or other tools is a plus.
Contribute to ERP architecture and financial management process design to align with business needs and optimize financial workflows.
Gather and document business requirements; translate requirements into test validation rules for Oracle Financials and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Create and execute test cases, perform user acceptance testing (UAT), and conduct regression testing to ensure financial processes function correctly in the ERP system.
Develop training materials and conduct end-user training; document configurations and customizations for future reference.
Functional Skills
Financial Accounting Knowledge: General Ledger, trial balances, financial close, chart of accounts.
Business Process Mapping: Map business processes to Oracle Financials functionality and optimize workflows; experience with process reengineering.
Project Management: Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall for ERP implementations; familiarity with JIRA for tracking progress.
Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Strong skills in collecting and documenting business requirements; translate business needs into test validation rules for Oracle Financials.
Training & Documentation: Ability to document processes, configurations, and customizations for future reference.
Qualifications
Extensive experience with Oracle Financials modules and Oracle Cloud tools.
Strong SQL/PLSQL skills and data management capabilities related to ERP data.
Experience with test automation and validating ERP financial processes.
