Weaver is looking for talented tax leaders at the Senior Manager or Director level to join our growing firm. We serve a variety of tax-exempt and non-profit clients in multiple industries, including healthcare, education and community outreach, ranging from large national organizations to smaller local entities. A Tax Senior Manager or Director works closely with firm leadership and plays a key role in business development and team development. The ideal candidate is a CPA with 7+ years of experience in federal tax compliance, planning and consulting at a public accounting firm. Responsibilities
Partner with firm leadership to drive business development and growth opportunities. Lead and mentor tax professionals; develop teams and staff. Provide federal tax compliance, planning and consulting services with a focus on tax-exempt and non-profit entities (including Forms 990, 990-EZ, 990-PF, and 990-T). Collaborate with clients across healthcare, education, and community outreach sectors to deliver value-added tax services. Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field CPA with 7+ years of experience in federal tax compliance, planning and consulting at a public accounting firm, with a focus on tax-exempt and non-profit entities (including Forms 990, 990-EZ, 990-PF, and 990-T) Preferred
Master’s degree in Accounting or related field Proven ability to manage, mentor and develop staff Strong relationship management and practice development skills Ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients Compensation and Benefits
Compensation range is estimated between $141,000 and $290,000 in the California, Maryland, New Jersey, and New York Metropolitan areas. Actual compensation is based on experience, skills, certifications, and location. We offer competitive health benefits (medical, dental, vision, disability, life), a 401(k) plan, flexible scheduled time off (STO), minimum of 56 hours of sick and safe leave, 11 holidays, and 2 recharge days. Optional in-house CPE and Learning & Development opportunities are provided to support technical improvement, practice development, management and leadership training, and whole-life growth.
