Overview
The Osborne Association serves individuals, families, and communities affected by the criminal justice system. Through our programs, we offer opportunities for people to heal from and repair harm, restore their lives, and thrive. We challenge systems rooted in racism and retribution and fight for policies and practices that promote true safety, justice, and liberation. We currently seek a full-time Program Coordinator to join our Marcus Garvey and The Rise team. Our Marcus Garvey and The Rise teams support our Supportive Housing programs and clients. The Program Coordinator will coordinate the day-to-day operations for the Marcus Garvey I & The Rise / Supportive housing programs, ensure achievement of program/service goals, maintain strong client and partner relationships, and collaborate with organizational staff and participants. On-site requirements include reporting to the Marcus Garvey I site 4 days a week and to The Rise site 1 day a week. Salary Range:
$60,000 - $65,000 annually Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Vice President of Housing to set objectives and work plans; implement activities to meet goals, monitor and evaluate results. Develop and continually evaluate program activities and the quality of services provided. Supervise Case Managers and Program Assistant at Marcus Garvey I and a Case Manager at The Rise. Develop systems and procedures to ensure compliance with program requirements. Evaluate the program against objectives; formulate corrective action plans and implement measures to maintain high standards of care. Oversee dissemination of educational materials and programming for Older Adults; ensure information about the organization is clear and accurate to participants. Delegate work, collaborate with staff and volunteers, and provide guidance and direct supervision to staff. Recruit, develop, and motivate volunteers. Locate and maintain a participant base; provide participant services and ensure high levels of service delivery. Draft correspondence and reports to validate program processes; manage relationships with contractors and program managers across funding sources. Provide direct supervision to assigned staff and develop in-service training to enhance knowledge and professional development; coordinate training to cover curricula delivered in group sessions. Ensure service plans are client-centered and entered into the ECM Data Platform; verify program compliance with contractual agreements. Observe program groups to establish a quality assurance process; maintain monthly facility calendars; provide backup support for group facilitation as needed. Participate in interdepartmental meetings and coordinate with the Program Analyst to ensure timely submissions of weekly and monthly reports and related documents to the ECM data system. Attend required trainings and be on-site as required. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Public Administration, or Criminal Justice preferred; in lieu of a degree, a High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience in Human Services, Public Administration, Criminal Justice, Social Work, or related field with two to five years of progressive program/service management experience in a social service setting or the equivalent education/experience. Non-profit experience is strongly preferred, with understanding of the criminal justice environment. Key Competencies: Strong leadership skills Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Proficiency in using database systems for tracking and case management Ability to work under tight deadlines, strong attention to detail, and good time management Teamwork and cross-functional collaboration Initiative and results-driven mindset Effective communication across all levels of the organization Benefits and EEO Information
