MES on Siemens OpsCenter — Onsite Location
Seattle, WA Key Responsibilities
Hands on experience in implementing Opcenter Discrete Solution for a plant Good understanding of complete life cycle implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) on Siemens Opcenter Discrete Good understanding of Opcenter Execution Discrete solution architecture Knowledge of Closed Loop Manufacturing (PLM and ERP) and Discrete business processes for complex assembly manufacturing Strong background in APIs, middleware, messaging queues and enterprise integration patterns Experience in Solution Architecture, Opcenter Discrete modules - Opcenter EX FN, APS, MOM Connect, IPL with Tableau and Mendix Experience in MES Upgrade Knowledge of interfaces with the Opcenter Discrete MES application and external applications like ERP, PLM, Equipment/ Machines, HMI Fair understanding of computer system validations; domain experience in manufacturing Aerospace industry knowledge (added advantage); knowledge of Opcenter customization extensions Knowledge of OPC-UA, PLC/SCADA interfacing; analytical skills, problem solving and attention to detail Expertise in SQL Good knowledge of Agile framework Roles & Responsibilities
Work with customer stakeholders on solution design based on Siemens Opcenter MOM platform Techno-functional analysis and impact assessment of changes and new requirements; provide efficient and optimum solutions to complex business problems Requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis and solution blueprint; experience working with Discrete Aerospace customers; articulate and communicate complex business processes, conflict resolution and buy-in on solutions Work across teams to build integration requirements with MES Ability to do coding in Opcenter Discrete modules Translate the solution requirements and work with development teams to build; be a mentor and train other associates Ensure the quality of deliverables by working with the assurance team Work with program governance on project planning and scheduling Ability to build and lead a team for end-to-end project execution; team management, customer management, knowledge management Coordinate with manufacturing site, contextualize shop floor operations, and understand customer manufacturing processes Identify and implement continuous process improvement opportunities Coordinate with MES COE, interfacing application teams, and Digital Manufacturing initiatives Coordinate with product team to ensure seamless operations, upgrades and implementations Required Skills
