A Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) in a healthcare organization serves as a strategic partner, developing and executing HR strategies aligned with the organization's mission, vision, and business goals. Location Gulf Coast Region Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team on workforce and organizational issues, aligning HR initiatives with the healthcare organization's objectives. Talent Management: Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for recruiting, onboarding, developing, and retaining a skilled healthcare workforce to meet current and future needs. Compensation & Benefits: Oversee the development and administration of competitive and cost-effective compensation and benefits programs for all employees. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and healthcare-specific regulations, including HIPAA and Joint Commission standards. Organizational Culture: Lead initiatives to foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing organizational culture that supports the organization's mission and enhances employee engagement. Change Management: Direct change management strategies to facilitate smooth adoption of new technologies, processes, or organizational structures within the healthcare setting. Internal Communications: Oversee a comprehensive internal communications strategy to effectively inform and engage employees on key initiatives and changes. Workforce Planning & Analytics: Utilize workforce data and analytics to make informed decisions on workforce planning, talent acquisition, and employee retention. Leadership Development: Provide guidance and oversee programs for leadership development and career pathing for the healthcare workforce. Healthcare-Specific Duties: Oversee the complex processes for provider and support staff credentialing and privileging, which are crucial in healthcare. Regulatory Knowledge: Possess deep knowledge of healthcare-specific employment regulations and standards, such as those from the Joint Commission. Worker's Compensation & OSHA: Manage employee-related administrative functions, including workers' compensation claims and OSHA reporting, as well as family and medical leave requests. Essential Skills & Qualifications

Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business principles and the ability to translate them into effective HR strategies. Strategic Planning: Proven ability to develop and execute long-term HR strategies. Data & HR Technology: Experience with human resources information systems (HRIS) and data analytics for decision-making. Leadership & Communication: Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills. Industry Experience: Extensive experience in human resources, with a significant portion in the healthcare industry.
