Overview
PHC is seeking a Chief Medical Officer to lead clinical operations across our health centers and provide direct patient care where needed. The Chief Medical Officer will work with a multidisciplinary team including behavioral health and pharmacy to develop and implement clinical policies, ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance, and oversee clinical oversight. Responsibilities
Oversee and lead the clinical operations of PHC's health centers. Provide direct patient care as needed and supervise/mentor clinical staff. Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures in collaboration with the healthcare team. Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements. Develop and maintain relationships with local healthcare providers and community partners. Collaborate with the executive team to improve patient outcomes and access to care. Qualifications
Medical degree from an accredited institution. Active license to practice medicine in Iowa. Board certification in a relevant specialty. Demonstrated leadership experience in a clinical setting. Strong clinical knowledge and expertise. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to serving underserved and vulnerable populations. About PHC
