Overview

We are seeking a Drone Pilot to support inspection, data collection, and program development within the Delaware area. The ideal candidate will combine electric utility knowledge with FAA-certified drone operation skills to identify asset conditions, improve field safety, and drive adoption of drone technology across utility programs. This role requires regular travel, fieldwork in all weather conditions, and strong communication to deliver measurable value and ROI. Base pay

Conduct drone-based inspections of electric utility assets, identifying deficiencies and assessing severity of damage or degradation. Operate drones in compliance with FAA Part 107 regulations, ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate data collection. Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop, implement, and manage program processes and procedures. Build mechanisms to track progress, cost savings, and ROI of drone-enabled programs. Utilize software tools (DJI Pilot, PIX4D, DJI Terra) for mapping, modeling, and reporting. Promote and champion drone integration across business units, ensuring best practices and safety standards are followed. What we're looking for

FAA Part 107 certification with strong knowledge of airspace regulations. Electric utility field experience, with ability to identify assets and assess condition/damage. Proficiency with drone flight and mapping software (DJI Pilot, PIX4D, DJI Terra). Equal Employment Opportunity
