About the Position: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead operations at Swedish Hill - South First. The General Manager will oversee all aspects of the property, including guest experience, food and beverage service, financial performance, and team leadership. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about hospitality, and is committed to building a culture of excellence and teamwork. Lead day-to-day operations, ensuring excellence in service, product quality, and overall guest satisfaction. Recruit, hire, train, and mentor a high-performing team that reflects MML’s standards of professionalism and hospitality. Develop and oversee systems for staff scheduling, training, performance reviews, and ongoing development. Foster a positive, collaborative work environment built on teamwork, accountability, and growth. Monitor and analyze financial performance, including sales, cost controls, and budgets, to maximize profitability. Collaborate with the culinary and beverage teams to ensure seamless coordination between front and back of house. Drive guest loyalty through community engagement, programming, and creative initiatives designed to grow the business. Act as a visible leader on the floor, engaging with guests and promptly addressing feedback to ensure a memorable experience. Uphold health, safety, and compliance standards, maintaining a safe and organized environment for both staff and guests. What We’re Looking For
4+ years of progressive leadership experience in fine dining restaurants, cafes, or high-end hospitality. At least 2 years in a management or supervisory role. Strong understanding of service standards, food and beverage operations, and hospitality best practices. Demonstrated success in driving financial performance, managing costs, and achieving revenue goals. Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with composure under pressure. Proficiency with POS systems, restaurant management software, and Microsoft Office / G Suite. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, talk, and hear regularly during shifts. Frequent use of hands and arms for handling objects and equipment. Occasionally required to lift and move up to 25 pounds. Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed. Specific vision requirements include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, with the ability to adjust focus. Work environment noise level is typically moderate. Background Check
