Commercial Associate - Full-Time (Summer 2026 Start) at Wayfair This role is based in Boston with a 4 day in-office expectation (Monday-Thursday) and 1 day remote (Friday). The base salary is $64,000 per year plus a $5,000 joining bonus. Wayfair states that the start date can be June or July 2026, and the position does not sponsor employment authorization for specified visa types. What You’ll Do
Analyze data, trends, and use resources to improve the quality of the product catalog to increase customer satisfaction, trust, and site conversion rates; research categories and vendors to build out selection. Create cross-functional partnerships to advance category and supplier initiatives through merchandising, promotions, marketing, on-trend product selection, pricing, profitability, and operational excellence. Create and enforce best-practice guidelines to enrich product assortment and optimize processes for high quality and efficiency while ensuring a digestible experience for suppliers and internal stakeholders. Build key supplier relationships to enable successful negotiations and a best-in-class customer experience. Leverage data to analyze competitive environment, report on performance trends, and develop business cases for strategic initiatives. Take the lead on business-critical initiatives and present final findings and recommendations to broader teams and stakeholders. Represent Wayfair at offsite events such as trade shows and manage communication with internal and external stakeholders. What You’ll Need
Basic Qualifications: Current senior undergraduate student in a relevant discipline with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by Wayfair now or in the future. Preferred Qualifications: Data- and process-oriented, comfortable using data analysis tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Collaborative mindset with an entrepreneurial spirit; able to work in a fast-paced environment. Interest in customer behavior and hands-on experience with Excel/Google Sheets is a plus. Compensation & Benefits
