Overview

USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments. Responsibilities / Architecture and Engineering Support

Provides systems engineering and architecture support for AFNWC. Provides comprehensive systems and network engineering and architectural planning services. Interfaces with O&S personnel by providing strategic design and support to projects, as directed. Reviews existing architectures on a regular basis, recommending and assisting with the design and implementation of systems and network improvements as required. Responsible for planning, solutioning, and improvement of AFWNC capabilities with a specific focus on cybersecurity and the implementation and design of the application layer. Required Skills and Experience

Deep knowledge in Model-Based Systems Engineering One or more of the following DevSecOps skill areas Collaboration services and Business Applications (e.g., collaboration service integration, CRM support) Cybersecurity & Risk Management (e.g., PKI/Certificate authority services, RMF) Enterprise Infrastructure & Systems Management (e.g., thin/zero client and VDI, disaster recovery & backup/restore, Active Directory services & DNS, DB structure management) Network & Communications Technologies (e.g., LAN/WAN and VoIP infrastructures, application delivery networking, wireless) Storage & Mobility (e.g., mobile computing, data storage with SANs, NAS, iSCSI, DAS) Virtualization & Cloud Technologies (e.g., cloud computing, containerization) Desired Skills and Experience

Ability to analyze system operations Ability to decompose systems via OMG frameworks (UML, DoDAF 2.0/UPDM, SysML, UAF) Model systems from multiple perspectives and abstraction levels Familiarity with UML modeling tools (Cameo Enterprise Architect preferred) Ability to meet with stakeholders across domains and analyze requirements, processes, systems, and capabilities Extend UML-based models to other tools/environments via frameworks/APIs Familiarity with executable models (fUML preferred) Ability to generate data and reports What You’ll Need to Succeed

Education: Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Science Experience: 10+ years related Security Clearance: Willingness to obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility Certifications: DoD 8140 qualified certification; ITIL 4 Foundation ITSM within 9 months Location: Offutt AFB US Citizenship Required Desired Qualifications

OMG modeling certifications (e.g., OCSMP) Experience modeling complex DoD/government systems Preferred certifications: ITIL 4 Foundation, CSEP, TOGAF, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, CCNP, Microsoft Azure certifications Meaningful Work and Personal Impact
