Information Operations Planner
at Booz Allen Hamilton The Opportunity: As an expert in defense missions, your background helps you think bigger, push further, and ask questions others don’t. We need your industry knowledge and advisory skills to solve our clients’ complex problems and find advanced technology solutions that keep our nation safe. You will leverage information environment (OIE) subject matter expertise (SME) as a deliberate planner, joint exercise planner, and operations security (OPSEC) planner at a military combatant command headquarters. You will develop and coordinate information appendices and plan OIE for joint unilateral and bilateral or multilateral exercises and operations with allied and partner nations. You’ll facilitate OIE working groups at joint exercise planning conferences and leverage OIE SME for joint planning groups, operations planning groups, and communication synchronization working groups. You’ll apply OPSEC SME to support joint exercise planning, deliberate planning, and crisis action planning. You’ll contribute to assessments of the effectiveness of information environment actions and activities, and prepare and present briefings and written products to U.S., ally, and partner nation staff planners and senior leaders. The role includes the following responsibilities related to information operations planning and execution: Apply OIE SME to planning, coordination, and execution of joint operations and exercises at high-level military headquarters Develop and manage information appendices and tabs for OIE integration in joint campaigns Coordinate with allied and partner nation staffs and facilitate OIE working groups Support joint exercise planning, deliberate planning, and crisis action planning with OPSEC considerations Assess the effectiveness of information environment actions and prepare briefings and written products for senior leaders Independently complete individual projects and collaborate in a team environment Qualifications
You Have: 10+ years of experience in an information capability, including strategic communication, OPSEC, Military Deception, Military Information Support Operations, and Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations 5+ years of experience in the military in regional security issues, OIE joint exercise planning, deliberate planning, and planning with foreign ally and partner nation counterparts Experience developing and handling classified products and briefing materials, and briefing senior leaders Experience with using Microsoft Office software, Artificial Intelligence, or OneBrief collaborative tools TS/SCI clearance Bachelor’s degree Nice If You Have: 5+ years of experience in the IndoPac AOR Experience at a Joint Staff, Combatant Command, Service Component, or Special Operations headquarters Ability to travel internationally up to 25% of the time Excellent verbal and written communication skills Master’s degree Graduate of Defense OPSEC Planners Course, Joint Information Planners Course, or Defense Intelligence Enterprise Foreign Disclosure Officer Course Graduate of a U.S. military Intermediate Service School or higher Clearance
