Sinai Health System (SHS)

Under the direction of the Manager, the PACS Analyst I plays a key role in supporting the implementation, maintenance, documentation, and troubleshooting of Diagnostic systems and other PACS-related information systems within Sinai Health System. This position also provides end-user support to ensure optimal system performance and user satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with leaders across departments, and should be resourceful and skilled in problem-solving, particularly when responding to system requests or resolving technical issues. Responsibilities

Responsible for all aspects of day-to-day operations of PACS and other Radiology and Cardiology applications and related equipment Participates on projects for implementing Diagnostic imaging and ECG applications Acts as liaison between IT, radiology, other departments, and system vendors Participates in the testing and the implementation of clinical applications Works closely with Radiology, Cardiology and Medical Records staff and management to revise or develop improved workflow processes and ensure data accuracy Oversees PACS integration with 3rd party applications, application and hardware redundancy procedures and downtime protocols Responsible for coordination of set up and maintenance of external sites for TeleRadiology workflows Assists and trains all clinical staff Assures 24x7 operation of the Radiology and Cardiology PACS Participates in an on-call rotation Minimum Education

Degree in Computer Science, Business, Informatics, or Technology related field. Bachelor’s preferred. Minimum Work Experience

2+ years related work experience in Radiology, Cardiology and other diagnostic imaging systems Benefits
