Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate

Software Test Engineer

to help our customer build, maintain, and troubleshoot the Versa Analytics platform. Versa Analytics provides real-time and historical insights with detailed reports on usage metrics, performance trends, security events, and alerts. By analyzing large volumes of data from VOSTM, it transforms data points into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases for Versa Analytics. Build robust test automation frameworks using Python and Selenium. Automate verification of graphs, charts, and dashboards within the analytics platform. Validate that data ingestion pipelines are functioning correctly and analytics are accurately presented to end users. Perform regression, functional, and system-level testing to ensure product quality. Collaborate with product management, development, and DevOps teams to define test strategies and improve overall product reliability. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines with automated quality gates.

Qualifications

Strong experience in QA automation with a focus on data-driven applications. Proficiency in Python and Selenium for test automation. Hands-on experience testing charts, visualizations, and data reporting platforms. Solid understanding of big data analytics and data validation workflows. Knowledge of REST APIs and ability to validate API responses. Knowledge of networking/security solutions desired. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, test management tools, and defect tracking systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred qualifications include experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, ElasticSearch, Kafka), networking/SASE/SD-WAN knowledge, cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure), container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and performance testing.

Compensation

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York City is expected in the range of $140,000 to $190,000. A candidate’s specific pay within this range will depend on job-related skills, training, location, experience, education, certifications, and other business needs.
