Overview
The Director of North American Operations, based in Houston, TX, leads all aspects of North America Operations while coordinating Global Operations Programs within the Isolation Valves business unit. The role directly oversees the Reno, NV factory and the North America financial team, with full P&L responsibility to drive sales and profitability across the region. The director ensures an exceptional customer experience and guides the team responsible for global operations programs, including inventory management, factory automation, Oracle systems rollout, and data collection. This position also plays a key role in shaping and executing the overall global operations strategy. In this Role, Your Responsibilities will be:
Drive Operational Excellence – Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality, on-time products while advancing strategies that strengthen efficiency, profitability, and long-term growth. Develop and Empower Talent – Build a high-performing organization by developing leaders, enabling career growth, and creating strong succession and backfill pipelines across the North America team. Lead Global Programs – Direct global operations initiatives in factory automation, inventory optimization, lead-time reduction, data transparency, and Oracle systems rollouts to improve performance worldwide. Influence Through Leadership – Communicate effectively with executive leadership, align program goals to enterprise objectives, and hold teams accountable for achieving measurable results. Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering required; experience may be considered in lieu of a degree Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience with subject matter expertise and hands-on experience in operations or manufacturing Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment with successful team leadership Strong training, presenting, and communication skills Willing to travel 25% of the time supporting Reno Plant with occasional international travel Willing to work non-standard hours to communicate with plants in other regions as required Legal authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided Our Culture & Commitment to You
