Role The

Deputy Director of Supply Chain

supports the CSCO in overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of all supply chain and related logistics functions across international operations. This role ensures operational continuity by providing day-to-day leadership, monitoring key performance areas, and stepping in to lead major supply chain functions when needed. The Deputy Director plays a pivotal role in aligning the organization’s global supply chain strategy in support of operational, humanitarian, and commercial objectives. This position oversees the full spectrum of supply chain functions including procurement, warehousing, transportation, planning, data analysis, and quality assurance, ensuring the seamless and cost-effective flow of aid for company delivery operations. Coordinates closely with the Logistics Operations Department leadership for seamless integration of all supply chain and logistics functions.

This role contributes directly to organizational success by enforcing standards, solving operational problems, optimizing resource deployment, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The Deputy Director also plays an important role in workforce development, mentoring team members, and supporting leadership succession within the supply chain and logistics departments.

Key Responsibilities Establishing a resilient and agile logistics infrastructure, optimizing inventory and delivery processes, leveraging data analytics to drive performance improvements, and ensuring compliance with international trade laws and organizational standards. The D/SCS also plays a critical role in talent development, team leadership, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the supply chain enterprise.

Coordinate and deconflict Supply Chain Operations and Aid Flow with government, commercial industry, and NGO organizations and agencies.

Coordinate / participate in the acquisition and management of Logistics Management and Oversight Systems [Transportation Management, Warehouse Management, Fleet Management, Inventory Management – Systems].

Coordinate and deconflict Supply Chain issues for SRS Logistics team and SRS Operations team with outside organizations

Design, manage, and/or modify the Aid distribution network and infrastructure as needed.

Monitor Aid Supply Chain production, movement and node inventory, deconflicting chokepoints ensuring the smooth and consistent flow of aid throughout the supply chain.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications:

Advanced degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years of executive-level experience in supply chain, operations, or a related discipline.

Demonstrated success in a senior leadership role within a complex supply chain or logistics environment.

Proven track record of delivering operational excellence and driving strategic initiatives.

Strong experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale supply chain operations.

Physical & Travel Requirements

This role requires extensive international travel, including active conflict zones. Travel may range from 50% to 100% of the time, depending on operational needs and assignment schedules.

Candidates must be physically capable of working in demanding environments, including those with limited infrastructure and elevated safety risks.

The position involves frequent standing, walking, and physical activity throughout the day.

Candidates must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted.

Assignments may involve deployment to regions experiencing active conflict or instability, including designated war zones. All employees must comply with company safety protocols and training requirements related to high-risk travel.
