Overview
Assoc Director of Healthcare Compliance Programs at Seton Hall University. The Associate Director Healthcare Compliance Program is responsible for assisting with the overall administration of the Center for Health & Pharmaceutical Law’s healthcare compliance program, including recruiting, enrollment, and marketing, as well as the Center’s academic events such as conferences, special programs, and symposia. This position provides direct assistance to prospective program applicants and enrollees, represents and markets the Center at industry events, and maintains and updates the Center’s webpages including the multiple compliance program pages. The position also supports the Center’s administration and faculty. Strong communications skills and the ability to learn and implement technology in the day-to-day work environment are necessary.
Responsibilities
Healthcare Compliance Certificate Programs Administration: Coordinate with the Assistant Dean for Global Compliance & Programming and Center faculty all necessary aspects of the Center’s Healthcare Compliance Certificate Programs (approximately 8–10 programs a year), including recruiting/advertising; registration and enrollment; program execution with coordination of catering, AV/IT, rentals, and other needs; and post-program wrap-up including awarding Continuing Education credits/certificates. Maintain all program records.
Health Law Project/Event Coordination: Coordinate all aspects of Center’s academic events (conferences, symposia, and special programs), including advertising; registration; event execution with collaboration across Law School & University departments on catering, AV, etc.; and post-event wrap-up. Serve as the point of contact for event-related inquiries and assist invited/external speakers with travel arrangements and reimbursements when necessary.
Fiscal Responsibility: Manage payment processing for the Center and Certificate Programs (e.g., through TouchNet or other University-approved platforms); prepare invoices; maintain and reconcile financial records; submit expenditures; reconcile credit card transactions for faculty; and coordinate travel and expense reports. Prepare detailed budget summaries for Center faculty and the Assistant Dean.
Website & Portal Design & Development: Work with University IT to maintain and update Center-related webpages and portals (learning management tool) for each program.
Marketing and Social Media Promotion: Assist with marketing Center activities and Certificate Programs through campaigns, email blasts, and social media postings.
Legal Support: Provide legal research support for Center faculty and assist in preparation of policy and legal publications.
Off-Campus Recruitment/Marketing: Represent the Center at leading industry events to market, advertise, and recruit for the Certificate Programs.
Program Reporting: Assist with enrollment and budgetary reports for faculty and administrative presentations.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree; 3–5 years of relevant work experience
Desirable:
Master’s degree
Salary Range:
52,000 – 71,500
