Technology Strategy Consulting. We engage clients on a hands-on, project-based basis, grounded in the insights and advice of Gartner’s Research and Advisory organization. Through these engagements, we help clients optimize IT performance by guiding strategic decisions for their business. We deliver value by helping clients execute on their priorities across sectors, including Digital Acceleration and Transformation; Enterprise Enablement; Big Data and Analytics; Applications Rationalization; Cloud Strategy; Sourcing and Ecosystem Optimization; Security and Risk Management; Benchmarking; and Contract and Cost Optimization.
What you’ll do Our Managing Partners sustain and grow Gartner Consulting’s relationship with a defined portfolio of Gartner clients. You will advise clients at the highest strategic level on big-picture and tactical matters, showcasing how technology enables a wide range of business outcomes. Managing Partners collaborate with Expert Partners and others to bring the best solutions to clients.
What you’ll need
A consistent track record of leading people and building high-performing teams that leverage technology to drive the mission-critical priorities of public sector — state and local government clients in the Northern California and Pacific Northwest markets.
Experience and expertise with ERP systems and transformations (Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics 365).
Experience working with state and local government clients with expertise in Medicaid.
Experience within a well-regarded management consultancy in a project delivery and sales capacity supporting a Pacific Northwest portfolio.
Experience working with multiple IT solutions.
An ability to inspire and motivate professionals from both technical and non-technical backgrounds toward a common goal.
An unwavering commitment to the success of your team, and willingness to provide constructive or corrective action when needed.
Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and the creative development of solutions and strategies to solve client problems. Must adapt Gartner frameworks and methodologies to address a client’s most pressing business challenges.
An ability to be hands-on and manage multiple client priorities simultaneously.
MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

Salary range guidance: A reasonable base salary range for this role is 184,000 USD - 248,000 USD. Actual salaries vary based on education, experience, and location. In addition to base salary, employees may participate in an annual bonus plan or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Gartner also offers PTO, a 401k match, stock purchase opportunities, and more.
