Job Summary The
Data Scientist
will support advanced use cases in
prediction, NLP, and AI/ML
for the client’s
Data Platform and Engineering Analytics
group. This position emphasizes
customer retention, churn analysis, subscription analytics, and feature impact analysis , with a strong focus on telematics use cases for both the client and Lexus. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in
machine learning, AWS cloud services, and hands-on coding in Python/SQL , combined with strategic thinking to optimize customer acquisition and retention.
Key Responsibilities
Lead AI/ML initiatives to deliver customer-centric insights and predictive analytics
Analyze customer behavior, trial periods, and subscription data to drive retention strategies
Build, test, and deploy machine learning models using
AWS
and cloud-native tools
Support ETL/ELT processes with
AWS Glue
and related transformation tools
Perform advanced analytics: segmentation, churn, repeat purchase behavior, A/B testing, and market basket analysis
Work with large, complex datasets to identify insights and communicate findings through compelling data storytelling
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven recommendations
Contribute to CI/CD and
MLOps workflows
for model deployment and monitoring
Required Experience
5+ years in Data Science with
AI/ML
project experience (2–3 years minimum)
Strong coding skills in
Python, SQL
(R or Spark experience a plus)
Hands-on AWS expertise (Azure/GCP not accepted for this role)
Knowledge of distributed data systems (SQL, NoSQL, Redshift, Snowflake)
Experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
Completion of technical assessments in Python, Spark, Scala, or R
Preferred Experience
Automotive data set experience
Familiarity with
Cloud Llama
and other LLM frameworks (Claude, Haiku, Gemma)
TensorFlow, PyTorch, Jupyter Notebooks, SageMaker experience
Deep learning (ENN, CNN, RNN), GANs, Transformers, NLP/LLMs
