$100,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr A fast-growing player in the food and beverage space located in Carlsbad, California is on the hunt for a dynamic Director of Operations & Logistics to take charge of day-to-day operations and keep everything running at peak performance. From managing order fulfillment and shipping to keeping inventory sharp and resolving customer service challenges, this role puts you at the center of it all. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who thrives in a high-energy environment, owns processes from start to finish, and isn’t afraid to bring bold ideas that make things better. This is a hands-on opportunity for a problem solver who loves collaborating with a tight-knit team and is excited to make a real impact on the company’s future growth. Responsibilities Oversee daily logistics operations and ensure timely fulfillment of all website and retail orders Manage inventory tracking and inbound shipments, including parcels from domestic and international partners Coordinate with shipping and freight providers to resolve delivery issues and delays Support customer service with escalated inquiries and ensure positive client experiences Supervise and provide direction to warehouse and support staff to maintain efficiency Step in to assist with packaging and order processing during peak volume days Monitor and improve operational processes to enhance accuracy and reduce inefficiencies Partner with leadership team to identify opportunities for growth and scalability Requirements Bachelor’s degree required 5–10 years of operations management experience at a Manager or Director level Strong knowledge of inventory management practices Background working with domestic and international shipping, import regulations, or controlled products Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with accounting systems such as QuickBooks Detail oriented with proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Excellent communication skills with experience handling escalated customer service issues Adaptable mindset with a willingness to learn new processes and contribute fresh ideas Benefits
