Job Purpose The Store Manager oversees the sales performance, guest experience, operations, hiring, and talent development. They provide leadership and strategic direction to create an environment that exceeds guests’ in-store and digital expectations, with maximum productivity, profitability, and sales results. They must understand company deliverables and processes and demonstrate the ability to execute those duties. Key Areas of Responsibility

include, but are not limited to: Exceed sales and plans for the store(s). Drive company sales growth and profitability through selling, teamwork, product knowledge, and guest experience. Model and implement active product selling and sampling in-store and at sample carts. Create a guest-obsessed culture that prioritizes the guest experience and delivers on sales goals. Lead by example through service, sales, and company cultural values. Utilize the mystery shop and NPS programs to deliver a memorable guest experience in each location. Engage guests; problem solve and resolve issues. Lead teams of hourly team members, interviewing, developing, coaching, evaluating, and retaining talent. Anticipate staffing needs, plan talent, and recruit. Follow up on training completion, check for understanding, and provide continuous education opportunities. Establish a culture of accountability through clear expectations and performance management. Model the culture and values with a high degree of self-accountability. Understand business reporting and guest insights to identify opportunities and follow up. Oversight of store P&L, KPIs, and inventory management. Manage labor costs (scheduling, overtime, etc.) for the store. Use financial tools to identify opportunities in in-store performance. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures (safety, assets, cash, etc.). Maintain store cleanliness, operational excellence, and food safety handling. Work a schedule aligned with guest and business needs, including weekends, early mornings, and evenings. Other job-related activities as requested. Ensure store adherence to federal and local safety standards, including food safety, OSHA, CDC, ADA, wage and hour laws. Qualifications Passion, knowledge, and interest in health, fitness, and/or wellness. At least 2 years as a Store Manager in retail or restaurant with a team of at least 15. Ability to build guest relationships and deliver exceptional service. Adaptability to new procedures, processes, and priorities; sound judgment; ability to champion change and mediate conflict. Proven success in achieving goals through guest-centric selling. Excellent teamwork and ability to lead and work independently. Strong verbal and written communication in English. Proficiency in sales principles, KPIs, and guest service practices. California Food Handler Card or state-specific requirement preferred. Experience managing a profit and loss statement or financial reporting. Ability to analyze financial reports, identify trends, and respond to business needs. Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Experience identifying, developing, and retaining talented team members. High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree or certification in business/retail/restaurant/hospitality management preferred. Ability to maintain confidential information.
