Your typical day will involve working in small groups on projects with internal or external clients. You’ll collaborate with national subject matter professionals in the design and execution of complex, large-scale partnership transactions with significant clients of the firm. You’ll gain an understanding of Subchapter K, partnership modeling and the nuances of joint venture structuring. You will work with National Tax Department (NTD) Managers, Senior Managers, Partners/Principals on on-call consulting opportunities, write Tax Alerts and Developments, and teach courses. You will gain significant experience in structuring partnership transactions and build broad knowledge in Subchapter K for Advisory Services practices. Key Responsibilities Assisting in the preparation of financial models and other tools that help our clients execute a variety of financial transactions, including asset acquisitions, disposition deals, capital structure transformations, and corporate reorganizations Applying principles of corporate finance to assess the economic implications of particular deal structures Preparing reports and client presentations Working at all levels of transaction structuring and execution, from evaluating alternative structures and bids through closing Compiling documentation related to each analysis Provide high-quality and time-sensitive service that meets and/or exceeds our clients\' expectations Qualifications
To qualify for the role, you must have Achieved at least a bachelor’s degree, typically with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Operations Research, Financial Engineering or Statistics Minimum of 3 years of work experience in professional services or professional tax organization A CPA certification or membership in The Bar Strong technical writing skills Broad exposure to federal income taxation, with an emphasis on partnership taxation Flexible and willing to travel as well as work in excess of standard hours when necessary Proficient with MS Office, including MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint Ideally, you’ll also have Willing and able to learn and work independently with minimal supervision Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines What We Look For

Comprehensive compensation and benefits package with a base salary range of $119,500 to $197,100 in most locations; $143,300 to $224,000 in NYC Metro, WA, and CA (excluding Sacramento). Salaries depend on education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. Total Rewards includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k), and paid time off options. Hybrid model: most client-facing roles expected to work in person 40-60% of the time on engagements, projects or year.
