Overview Forward Networks is revolutionizing the way large networks are managed. The Forward Enterprise platform delivers a vendor-agnostic "digital twin" of the network, based on a mathematical model. The platform scales to support hundreds of thousands of network devices, whether cloud, hybrid cloud, or on-prem. It serves as a single source of truth for the network, enabling network operators to instantly verify security posture, accelerate troubleshooting, avoid outages, and modernize network management.

Forward Networks is looking for an experienced FP&A Manager. The FP&A Manager will oversee the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and internal reporting across the Organization. The role will provide insight into the business’ drivers, group financial forecasts and results, with a focus on maximizing efficiencies through automation. Working in a dynamic environment, the role will support wider corporate development activities by providing financial analysis to support key strategic decisions and special projects. The candidate will spearhead efforts to enhance the company\'s Business Intelligence capabilities including elevation of all FP&A processes.

Responsibilities

Budgeting & Business Planning: Manage annual budgeting process and regular re-forecasting process through partnering with budget holders and local teams; identifying risks and opportunities.

Budget and forecast integrity: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure appropriateness of estimates, accuracy of calculations, and proper classification of income and expenditures.

Board and Management presentations: Help develop materials for approval of budgets, reporting of variance analysis, and forecast updates.

5-year plan coordination: Assist and coordinate preparation of the 5-year plan and provide updates to the Board on progress against plan.

Budgetary control: Implement budgetary control on day-to-day operations; oversee budget transfers, enhancements and revisions as appropriate.

Financial modeling: Build and maintain cash flow, P&L, and balance sheet forecasting models to support business planning.

Management & Board Reporting: Produce extensive Board decks and regular management accounts with analysis of key drivers; develop KPI dashboards; drive improvements in reporting and insights; ensure timely delivery.

Special Projects: Design new processes, lead special projects for efficiencies and ad-hoc financial analysis; partner with stakeholders to support business planning and decision making; work cross-functionally with Sales Operations.

Review and optimization: Review the Group’s financial statements and assist in optimization of results; provide inputs to Enterprise Risk Management processes.

Qualifications

Experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience in FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting across international entities.

Automation & tools: Experience with automation and FP&A tools; experience with Enterprise SaaS; Big 4 or related industry background.

Systems: Experience with FP&A tools (Anaplan, Adaptive, Planful, NSPB preferred, Jirav, etc.); Power BI or Tableau (preferred); SQL.

Accounting knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP concepts (ASC 606, 718, 842, 340, etc.).

Education & Skills

Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related discipline.

Accounting concepts and knowledge of IFRS standards; MS Office Suite expert; financial modeling and advanced Excel.

Interpersonal/Behavioral: Outstanding report and presentation drafting, problem solving, organization and planning, accountability, high attention to detail.

Compensation The base pay range for this role is between $170,000 and $200,000. Base pay will depend on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
