Information Technology Analyst

We are hiring for an exciting contract opportunity with a client in Newport Beach, CA. This is an on-site position offering the chance to contribute to a variety of technology initiatives while supporting a professional IT team. Position Overview: The IT Analyst – Applications will be responsible for providing technical, analytical, and operational support for enterprise applications and technology solutions. This role involves working closely with end-users to understand requirements, developing and maintaining applications, supporting database systems, and ensuring the effectiveness and security of IT solutions. The position requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, and a background in application development and support. Key Responsibilities: Develop, update, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications and databases to meet business needs. Work with end-users to identify requirements, propose solutions, and implement enhancements that improve workflow and efficiency. Design, test, and implement software applications and integrations. Provide technical support for application-related issues, ensuring operational effectiveness and data integrity. Design and maintain reports, dashboards, and data extracts based on business requirements. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate application upgrades. Prepare technical documentation and user guides for supported applications. Collaborate with IT staff on cross-functional projects and initiatives. Qualifications: Minimum of three (3) years of progressive professional experience in application development, system analysis, database integration, or software support. Hands-on experience with enterprise applications, SQL databases, and reporting tools. Ability to analyze complex business processes and recommend technical solutions. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and customer service skills. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
