Our mobile team is a creative and collaborative group building applications that unlock the creativity of our customers. Our Android mobile team is part of the larger Adobe Video organization, building video creation and editing experiences across desktop, mobile, and web. As a member of our team, you\'ll work closely with our Product and Design teams to create new features and experiences. We are looking for a hardworking and self-motivated Software Engineer with proven industry experience building Android applications. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a highly motivated team that is innovating, evolving, and growing our video tools to meet the needs of storytellers. A successful candidate will become a key contributor on a team with high technical standards. You will own features, provide creative solutions and have opportunities for ownership and influence on product direction. Own features and contribute to development of Android applications as part of a collaborative team. Communicate ideas effectively and influence others. Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science 5+ years of product experience developing applications, including developing Android apps Proficient with Android Java and/or Kotlin Experience creating and maintaining testable code Passion for learning, sharing of new ideas and creative thinking to provide innovative solutions to challenges Thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment Values clarity and simplicity in code Preferred Qualifications

Experience coding with Kotlin Experience with Jetpack Compose, Media3 Familiarity with Git Experience with multi-threading programming and mobile memory management Salary information: Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $133,900 – $242,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. For non-sales roles, starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP). Some roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award. For sales roles, starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), with short-term incentives in the form of sales commission plans.
