Our client is currently seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager to lead and coordinate complex infrastructure initiatives, including environment buildouts and enterprise-scale program rollouts.
This is a contract opportunity that is hybrid to downtown Chicago.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end project management for infrastructure initiatives, including data center migrations, cloud environment provisioning, and network/server buildouts. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations. Coordinate with engineering, operations, security, and vendor teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of infrastructure components. Track and report on environment readiness, including hardware/software provisioning, configuration, and validation. Manage risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple workstreams. Drive large-scale program rollouts, ensuring alignment with business goals, technical requirements, and compliance standards. Facilitate regular status meetings, executive updates, and stakeholder communications. Ensure documentation, change control, and quality assurance processes are followed throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications
10+ years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on infrastructure and systems. Experience leading large-scale program rollouts across multiple business units or geographies. Strong understanding of infrastructure components: servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Pay: 80-95/hr
