This position will support the creation and management of geospatial solutions for aviation-related projects using the ESRI ArcGIS platform. The candidate will help build and configure ArcGIS Online applications – such as Experience Builder, Dashboards, Field Maps, Survey123, and QuickCapture – and develop automated processes to streamline data workflows. This role includes preparing and integrating geospatial datasets, performing advanced geoprocessing, and presenting results through web maps, dashboards, and other visualization tools. Years of Relevant Experience
The position requires 4 – 6 equivalent years of experience in Geographical Information Systems, web development, operations research, modeling and simulation, or technical analysis. Specific experience with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or the Aviation Industry is desired. Essential Job Functions
Develop and configure ArcGIS Online applications, including Experience Builder, Dashboards, and field applications such as Field Maps, Survey123, and QuickCapture Design and build ArcGIS Survey123 forms for field data collection and assist with integrating results into enterprise GIS solutions Create and maintain automated data processing workflows and ETL routines using Python, SQL, or equivalent tools to move and prepare geospatial and tabular data from multiple sources Develop and maintain custom web mapping solutions using ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript and other web technologies Design and implement relational database structures (e.g., PostgreSQL/PostGIS) to store and query spatial and non-spatial data Contribute to cross-functional teams by documenting technical processes, presenting analysis results, and collaborating with stakeholders to refine requirements and deliverables Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Geospatial Science, Computer Science, Geography, Urban Development, Data Science, or similar. Master’s degree is a recommended Skills Requirements
Experience configuring ArcGIS field applications: Field Maps, Survey123, QuickCapture Experience with ArcGIS Pro is required Experience with ArcGIS Experience Builder and/or Dashboards is required Familiarity with ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript is desired Experience with custom web application development is desired Experience creating automated workflows and ETL processes using Python is desired Experience integrating data from multiple sources (APIs, cloud storage, flat files) is desired Experience with pSQL/relational databases is desired Experience with Python, Java and Power Platform is desired Experience with data visualization tools such as Shiny, Tableau, Cold Fusion is desired Security Requirements
