The Technology and Boards practice is a successful team where both engagement levels and the pace of the activities are high. Purpose of the Position

Working closely with the two Regional Partners, the role holder is responsible for end-to-end execution of Board, Technology, CEO and C-suite searches, including identifying, engaging and assessing potential candidates, report writing, client handling and candidate interactions/guidance and providing support / getting involved in business development, pitch work/preparation and board events. The engagements would encompass all industries for the Board practice, mainly in the Netherlands and occasionally outside of the Netherlands. The Tech space includes high tech, Semicon, software, digital platforms, telecoms and media and is very internationally oriented. Key Responsibilities

Work with Consultants to create a multi-channel sourcing strategy to target companies and relevant potential candidates within the market. Conduct thorough research to navigate target companies and build lists of candidates which accurately reflect the client briefing. Identify relevant candidate profiles using a variety of sourcing techniques (database, LinkedIn, telephone, other sources). Execute direct talent sourcing practices and candidate screening techniques to include resume pre-screening, telephone interviewing and shortlisting. Use competency-based interviewing techniques to qualify suitable candidates. Reach out to engage passive candidates and screen them against agreed competencies. Work closely with colleagues and hiring managers to set expectations for the recruitment process and to fulfil the required search briefing. Conduct ongoing candidate pipeline development activities and talent network expansion for active and future requisitions. Write candidate reports and appraisals to a high standard, both in English and in Dutch. Balance deadlines and deliverables for multiple searches at a time. Maintain data quality and accuracy within the company’s internal database. Handle the breadth of senior level client and candidate interactions – typically at chair, CEO and board level Contribute annual and bi-annual industry specific reports and thought leadership pieces. Research: Lead/coordinate the research process, in conjunction with other Research Associates. Timely Report Preparation: Lead and own the creation of reports; assist in writing the position spec and candidate reports. The Candidate

Experience and Professional Qualifications Demonstrable experience as a recruiter within retained Executive Search, ideally already operating consistently at Board and CEO level; if not, then ready to step up with the required level of gravitas to be credible in these interactions. Preferably experience recruiting in the B2B or Technology sectors. Superior capabilities in candidate identification, mapping & sourcing. Skills and Competencies Good stakeholder management skills and the ability to build and maintain professional relationships. A high degree of customer focus and attention to detail. Strong drive for results and a commitment to producing a high level of work efficiently. Highly effective time management skills, prioritizes easily, strong multi-tasker. Ability to deal with pace, change and ambiguity; whilst working at pace. First class verbal and written communication skills Eye for detail in preparation of documentation.
