Overview
We’re looking for a Lead Backend Engineer to help build AI-powered systems that transform professional workflows. You’ll design and scale backend services that power intelligent, real-time AI applications, working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities
Design and implement backend services and APIs using Python, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL. Build orchestration systems that integrate LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic). Ensure systems are secure, performant, and scalable across millions of documents. Collaborate with AI engineers, frontend developers, and product teams to bring AI features to life. Drive best practices in backend architecture, testing, and system design. Required Experience & Skills
6+ years of backend development experience with scalable web services and APIs. Strong Python expertise; experience with FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and AWS. Background in distributed systems, API/data model design, and production-grade software. Excellent debugging, collaboration, and communication skills.
