Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Vice President or Director to join our Corporate Banking team, specializing in the Power, Utilities, and Infrastructure (PU&I) sectors in the U.S. This role will focus on client coverage, structuring and executing bank debt transactions, and managing a portfolio of clients in the PU&I industry group. Responsibilities
Transaction Structuring and Execution: Lead or support the structuring and execution of bank debt transactions, including acquisition loans, bridge loans, corporate revolvers, and project/asset financings. Client Relationship Management: Drive relationship coverage across the U.S. PU&I sectors for Corporate Banking; identify and cross-sell non-investment banking products to clients; collaborate with Investment Banking to uncover and capitalize on cross-sell opportunities. Credit Underwriting and Approval: Lead the credit underwriting process, prepare and oversee the development of credit submission materials and other documentation required for transaction approval and closing; negotiate legal documents associated with transaction execution. Portfolio Management: Proactively manage the client portfolio, providing timely updates on client and industry performance. Team Leadership and Development: Mentor and train junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development. Qualifications and Experience
An advanced degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field; CFA or other relevant professional designations are a plus. At least 10 years of experience in corporate finance and/or corporate banking, with a focus on corporate lending. Relevant experience in the PU&I industry. Expertise in project and infrastructure finance (preferred). Strong financial modeling skills, along with exceptional writing and presentation abilities. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels both internally and externally. A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently while thriving in a team-oriented environment. A passion for developing and mentoring junior team members. The expected salary range for this position is $225,000 - $300,000, based on experience, skills, registration status, market conditions, and business needs. This range does not include other elements of total compensation such as a discretionary bonus, benefits, and stock options where applicable. Additional Job Details
