Your Role:
The Pricing Operations Analyst supports the product, commercial and sales teams by overseeing pricing systems, governance, data, and execution. This role is instrumental in maintaining pricing accuracy, driving process efficiencies, and providing data-driven insights to shape pricing strategies. The analyst collaborates closely with sales, finance, product, and deal desk teams to enable effective deal-making while ensuring pricing policies are complied with.
Responsibilities & Duties
Administer and maintain pricing tools, systems, and documentation to ensure all pricing data is accurate and up to date.
Analyze pricing, margin, and discount trends, providing insights and recommendations to optimize revenue and profitability.
Support the pricing review and approval process for standard and non-standard quotes and deals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and communicate pricing changes, programs, and policies.
Assist in the development and rollout of new pricing models, discount structures, and go-to-market initiatives.
Monitor compliance with established pricing policies and escalate exceptions as necessary.
Prepare regular pricing and margin reports for leadership, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
Support audits and provide documentation for internal and external stakeholders as requested.
Participate in special projects to drive process improvements in pricing operations, automation, and sales enablement.
Documentation for all approved deals and support audit activities as needed.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in pricing operations, sales operations, revenue operations, finance, or related analytical roles.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Experience with CRM and CPQ tools and advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
Strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and high level of data accuracy.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to partner across revenue operations, sales, finance, and product teams.
Experience in SaaS/technology pricing models or enterprise sales environments.
Physical Requirements Working out of the Mountain View, California office according to our Global Hybrid Working Policy, which requires attendance at the office 3x per week.
Travel Requirements May require occasional travel (1x - 2x per year) for internal events and meetings.
