Overview

Program Director role at BCFS Health & Human Services. The Program Director is responsible for overseeing the program using sound professional judgment and best practices to supervise staff, ensure quality services, compliance with policies and procedures, and meeting contract deliverables. Responsibilities

Leadership and Supervision: lead and supervise staff, including providing consultation, evaluation, and training; ensure contract compliance and quality service delivery; act as a liaison with contract managers; monitor and maintain program procedures; guide, lead, and mentor staff; implement safety protocols. Program Management: meet deadlines and ensure program outcomes are achieved; oversee program budgets and financial reports; review and approve spending reports; collect and submit required documentation; conduct file audits and ensure compliance with contract requirements. Community Engagement: participate in community meetings and outreach activities; build relationships with community entities. Staff Development: hire, train, and evaluate staff; provide coaching, counseling, and development plans; ensure staff are trained in program data collection. Crisis Management: respond promptly to crises; be on call after hours; provide crisis intervention as needed. Qualifications

Education: Required – Bachelor's degree in a related field; Preferred – Master’s degree in social work or a related field. Experience: Required – 2 years of experience in developing and implementing a program or business, including administration, financial management and supervision of employees; Preferred – 3 years’ experience working with children and adolescents in a large organization. Licenses/certifications: As required by specific program grant. Measurable Deliverables

Meet all federal, state, and agency guidelines and standards; schedule and participate in meetings and team decisions and operations; ensure program outcomes and contract deliverables are met; submit timely reports; maintain accurate records and documentation. Oversee the program budget; review monthly ledgers, billing spreadsheets, and expense tracking for compliance; monitor and approve program spending based on approved budgets; review and approve monthly spending reports for direct reports; collect and submit original receipts and other required documentation timely. Complete ongoing training, weekly consultation, monthly case file audits, and shadowing of case managers; participate in community outreach and build relationships; train and develop staff. Demonstrate cultural sensitivity, effective written and verbal communication in English; work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team; travel as needed; perform other duties as assigned per grant requirements. Requirements

Maintain certificates required for the position including First Aid and CPR. Valid Texas Driver’s license with a clear driving record and reliable transportation. Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens. Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request. Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background and motor vehicle check (fingerprints if applicable).
