The senior manager capture leader (M2) will manage and guide international programs, strategy, growth, and capture efforts within the Northrop Grumman Defense Systems division. This leadership role is critical for driving long-term growth in the European market, particularly in Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) and Multi-Domain Command and Control. Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Management: Manage the cross-functional Europe IAMD capture teams to execute activities that lead to winning new business and achieving sales growth. Business Development: Create and prioritize new business opportunities to meet financial targets for growth. Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with European government and industry leaders, performing acquisition analysis and shaping. Capture Strategy Development: Develop capture strategies and tactics, including competitive assessments and teaming strategies. Proposal Development: Oversee proposal development processes, ensuring compelling and compliant submissions. Risk Management: Plan and conduct risk management for large system development contracts, addressing cost, schedule, and technical quality. Budget and Performance Management: Ensure that overall budgets, schedules, and performance standards are met. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor\'s Degree with 8 years of experience related to DoD business or programs; or Master\'s Degree with 6 years of experience related to DoD business or programs. Experience in the Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) domain or related operational experience Strong international experience in strategy, capture, and program management Knowledge of DoD acquisition and U.S. foreign military sales processes Strong interpersonal skills and capacity to lead cross-functional teams Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver executive-level presentations Active Secret or Top Secret clearance Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field 10 years of experience related to DoD programs 5 years of experience in domestic or international business development Experience working with the European government and industry Knowledge of the U.S. Government’s competitive acquisition process Experience with DoD Foreign Military Sales Salary and Benefits
Primary Level Salary Range: $149,400.00 - $224,000.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
