Overview

The Associate Director, Online Program Management oversees a portfolio of six (and growing) online programs, driving design, coordination, logistics, and faculty engagement to ensure program health and an excellent participant experience in Canvas. The role leads end-to-end delivery, including live virtual execution, Canvas build and maintenance, enrollment and performance reporting, and financial tracking in partnership with Accounting, and collaborates closely with the Senior Associate Director, Program Innovation and Success, faculty, and cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Enrollment) as well as third-party vendors. Responsibilities

Owns end-to-end delivery of online programs. Oversees readiness checks, timelines, logistics, live session hosting, communications, issue resolution, and post-program reviews, ensuring a seamless participant and faculty experience. Serves as the central liaison for participants, faculty, vendors, and internal teams, guiding each program from kickoff through wrap-up with professionalism and executive presence. Builds and manages program infrastructure. Maintains and standardizes schedules, checklists, templates, and communications to drive consistency and efficiency across a growing portfolio. Coordinates faculty engagement. Aligns teaching schedules, materials, and support resources to program timelines and standards. Stewards program performance and impact. Monitors enrollment funnels, attendance, engagement, and completion metrics, and collaborates with Marketing, Sales, and Enrollment to meet participant targets. Oversees program financials. Tracks budgets against plan; reconciles enrollments, discounts, transfers, and refunds; and proactively flags risks to Finance/Operations. Delivers learning platforms with precision. Builds, publishes, and maintains Canvas sites, including modules, assignments, rubrics, grading schemes, and release conditions, tailored to each program. Hosts high-impact virtual sessions. Produces and manages Zoom meetings and webinars, including breakout rooms, recordings, captions, and real-time troubleshooting. Elevates feedback into action. Designs and distributes Qualtrics surveys, delivers dashboards and reporting, and translates data into clear, actionable recommendations for continuous improvement. Provides in-depth knowledge in developing executive or professional degree programs and/or curriculum. Implements plans for executive or professional degree programs and initiatives and acts as a liaison between the program and program participants. Serves as a resource for program information. Resolves problems or questions referred by program staff, University administrators, or other contingencies. Performs other related work as needed. Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include a college or university degree in related field. Work Experience:

Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree. At least five years of experience delivering online programs in executive education, online education, or corporate learning and development. Technical Skills

Advanced proficiency with Canvas LMS (modules, assignments, gradebook/rubrics, sections) and Zoom live production. Qualtrics or another survey tool experience, including survey design, logic, distributions, dashboards/reporting. Data fluency (Excel/Google Sheets) and clear written/verbal communication. Preferred Competencies

Strong customer-focused mindset, business acumen, strategic thinking, analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence a variety of stakeholders at all levels in a matrixed, cross-functional environment. Confident virtual facilitation and on-camera hosting with senior/executive audiences. Familiarity with budgeting and financial tracking; comfort collaborating with accounting. An abundance of curiosity and a strong desire to learn. Working Conditions
