Commissioning Senior Manager - Dallas, TX

Responsible for the planning and coordination of commissioning for large-scale greenfield data centers and retrofit live data centers. The role focuses on ensuring commissioning activities support peak reliability, sustainability goals, and successful handoff to operations. Responsibilities
Project Management: Create and implement multi-facility, standards-based commissioning plans and schedules; provide input on new and existing Critical Environment Programs; communicate effectively with business operations and construction managers; manage regional short- to medium-term pipelines for resource planning; liaise with internal construction managers and external general contractors; maintain commissioning logs and checklists; contribute to project budgeting for commissioning activities; develop electrical and mechanical Functional Performance Test procedures and Factory Acceptance Test procedures. Customer Interface: Issue customer-facing reports; present progress to key customers on commissioning plans and Ready for Sales (RFS) dates; act as the point of contact for customer escalations during the commissioning process. Process Management: Follow commissioning processes and escalate potential improvements to senior management; develop standardized schedules and commissioning scopes based on customer contracts; report on progress for projects during the commissioning phase; prepare test procedures and reports; compile comprehensive reports with recommendations for optimizing building operations, deficiencies, and maintenance manuals; capture historical data on equipment startup/testing and coordinate with OFCI vendors. Vendor Management: Conduct quarterly business reviews with vendors, prepare project-specific commissioning RFPs, respond to bid clarifications, and lead external resources; schedule commissioning meetings; determine vendor KPIs and conduct lessons learned reviews. Other: Input into data analytics/metrics reporting as related to commissioning activities. Qualifications
7+ years of data center commissioning experience preferred 3+ years of leadership experience in a mission-critical environment preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred Location and Compensation Details
Location: Dallas, Texas Pay range (base): United States – DA1 Dallas : 136,000 - 204,000 USD / Annual Salary Range: >$100,000 (varies by role, level, location; bonus/equity/benefits may apply) The pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position as determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and education/training. Additional Information
