JOB TITLE:
SharePoint Architect Location: North Fort Myers, FL Work Hours: M-F 8:00am - 5:00pm
Position Summary
The SharePoint Architect
is responsible to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-wide SharePoint solutions. This role will also support strategic data initiatives and modernizing collaboration platforms.
Responsibilities
Design scalable and secure SharePoint environments (Online and/or On-Premises).
Define architecture plans, governance models, and taxonomy strategies.
Recommend and implement third-party tools or custom solutions to enhance platform capabilities.
Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive Data Governance Program, and align SharePoint architecture to the program.
Lead full lifecycle deployment and migration projects to SharePoint Online.
Build custom web parts, workflows, and dashboards using Power Platform tools (Power Automate, PowerApps, Power BI).
Develop and maintain SharePoint applications using PowerShell and Python to interact with SharePoint using PNP MS Graph or other APIs.
Collaborate with Data Technology and Digital Security Teams to establish and enforce governance policies for access control, document management, and data retention, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Engage with stakeholders to understand collaboration needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Educate IT staff and business users on best practices and established procedures for data management within the SharePoint environment.
Provide advanced support and resolve complex SharePoint-related issues.
Maintain effective working relationships with employees and customers at all levels within LCEC, ensuring smooth operations and timely, courteous communication.
Support Storm Restoration efforts when needed. Work in emergency storm situations and be prepared for extended hours as required.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. (Required)
Experience
Minimum five (5) years of hands-on experience in SharePoint architecture, development, and administration. (Required)
Demonstrated success in migrating enterprise environments to SharePoint Online. (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Expert skills in SharePoint Online and On-Premises. (Required)
Advanced skill in Power Platform. (Required)
Advanced skill in Azure AD. (Required)
Intermediate skill in PowerShell, Python, JSON, and REST APIs. (Required)
Expert skills in Groups and Teams (Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Active Directory). (Required)
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Data Governance. (Required)
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Purview. (Required)
Working knowledge of SQL Server, Teams, MongoDB and Power BI – Strong Understanding. (Required)
Solid understanding of digital security fundamentals. (Required)
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. (Required)
Excellent communication and documentation skills. (Required)
Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities and meet deadlines. (Required)
