You will review medical records electronically through a web portal and perform a focused, in-person exam on each Veteran, documenting findings electronically through the portal. The position typically handles 3-5 Veterans per day. Schedule: Full-time, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm.
Responsibilities
Perform Disability Assessments for Veterans as part of the VA benefits process.
Review medical records electronically and conduct focused in-person physical examinations.
Electronically document exam findings and required VA forms through the web portal.
Collaborate within a clinical setting to complete assessments efficiently while adhering to VA guidelines.
Qualifications
Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
Must hold a current NP or PA license (NCCPA accredited where applicable).
Proficient computer skills and ability to navigate a web portal.
Ability to analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions.
