Overview We are seeking an

Engineering Manager

to lead our web and CTV (Connected TV) application teams in building next-generation streaming experiences. This role blends

technical leadership

with

people management

to ensure high-performing teams deliver engaging, scalable, and reliable apps across browsers and smart TVs. You will oversee engineers working with

ReactJS

for web platforms and

LightningJS

for CTVs, while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management Build, mentor, and motivate a team of front-end engineers across web and CTV platforms.

Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and growth through coaching, feedback, and clear career development paths.

Align team priorities with organizational goals, ensuring velocity without compromising quality.

Architecture & Technical Direction Provide architectural guidance for scalable, modular, and maintainable applications in

ReactJS

and

LightningJS .

Partner with product, design, and backend teams to define technical strategies that align with business needs.

Ensure robust architecture to support millions of concurrent users, high-performance video playback, and seamless cross-platform features.

Performance & Quality Drive performance optimizations for both browser apps and CTV devices, ensuring smooth playback, responsive UIs, and low memory usage.

Establish coding standards, best practices, and CI/CD processes to ensure high code quality and developer experience.

Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks in rendering, streaming, and device performance.

Delivery & Execution Oversee sprint planning, execution, and delivery of key features and platform improvements.

Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and release management to ensure timely and reliable deployments.

Track and report engineering metrics to measure productivity, quality, and impact.

Qualifications

Experience 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years in an

engineering management role .

Proven track record delivering large-scale

web or streaming applications .

Strong background in

ReactJS

(SPA, hooks, performance optimization).

Experience with video streaming technologies, performance tuning, and multi-device support.

Skills Strong knowledge of

architecture patterns

(modular design, SOLID principles, micro-frontends, etc.).

Deep understanding of

browser APIs , rendering pipelines, and memory management.

Ability to

motivate teams , resolve conflicts, and inspire innovation.

Excellent communication skills, able to bridge technical and business perspectives.

Nice to Have Exposure to

OTT/CTV ecosystems

(Roku, Fire TV, Samsung, LG, Vizio, etc.).

Familiarity with

cloud services

(AWS, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.

Background in performance analytics (Datadog, New Relic, or similar).

Familiarity with

LightningJS

for CTV
