Responsibilities
Enhance the organization’s approach to Loss mitigation strategy and develop the analytical abilities of the Loss Mitigation Operations Analytics team itself.
Develop analytically driven loss mitigation solutions and strategies to increase value and ensure great customer outcomes.
Partner closely with Loss Mitigation Operations and other partner teams to instill a test and learn environment of ongoing strategy improvements.
Identify standard processes across the business, champion successful strategies, design and deliver training to support these strategies, and analyze results to quantify benefits.
Develop risk scoring and customer segmentation models to better tailor sales effectiveness and loss mitigation efforts and strategies.
Institute an environment of continual learning supported by ongoing champion/challenger strategy testing.
Design loss mitigation tools (e.g., settlements, re-age, loan modifications) and research industry tools and vendor options, using them to improve customer contact, sales, and loss mitigation efficiency and effectiveness.
Develop robust loss and value assessments to enable analytically based decisions and evaluation of strategic alternatives.
Present strategic recommendations with compelling rationale based on rigorous analysis to senior executives and board of directors.
Continue the build-out of the Operations Analytics team, leading and developing team members’ skills to increase the team’s impact.
Determine multichannel contact strategy through meticulous, analytically driven test design.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Engineering, or a related STEM field.
5 years of progressive experience as a Project Manager, Analytics Director, Business Manager, or a related occupation in sales or loss mitigation analysis.
3 years of experience leading a team of analytical professionals, including experience in/with: white space problem solving to drive analytically based decisions from sometimes incomplete data; collaborative and empathetic feedback collection; new strategy implementation; translating detailed results and observations into verbal and written summaries; consumer lending practices and procedures; data mining; data visualization; and statistical packages.
Must have legal authority to work in the U.S. EEOE.
