Many states, corporations, and other stakeholders are pushing for a rapid shift toward renewables, nuclear, and energy storage. At the same time, accelerating demand growth, aging infrastructure, supply chain constraints, and permitting challenges are slowing deployment and raising concerns about reliability and affordability. These dynamics create a complex and evolving environment for energy investment and planning. At PA, our Global Energy and Utilities team is at the forefront of analyzing these changes. We help clients understand the risks and opportunities in energy infrastructure and guide them through strategic decisions that shape the future of the sector. We are seeking a Denver-based Consultant to join our team. You do not need prior energy experience—just strong analytical skills, curiosity, and a desire to work on meaningful challenges. This is an opportunity to learn from experts, contribute to impactful work, and grow your career in a sector that touches every part of society What you bring A minimum of aBachelor’sdegree in a relevant field (e.g., public policy/administration, economics, political science, energy studies). An advanced degree is preferred. A minimum of1yearof experience related to policy and regulation within the energy-focused private, public, and/or non-profit sector (may be offset by an advanced degree). Big picture thinking with the desire to contribute to a positive team environment and exceed client expectations Strong written and oral communication skills. Strong quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills. Previous experience and comfort with quantitative modeling. High attention to detail. Ability to manage 5-10 projects concurrently and adjust to shifting deadlines. Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Willingness to travel locally/nationally as needed Qualifications
Performing policy and regulatory analysis and strategy development as partof:energy infrastructure investment, expert witness testimony, market and regulatory proceedings, benefits case assessments, whitepaper development, stakeholder engagement, business model development, and business integration; Contributingtointernal working groups on how policy and regulatory outlooks should guide development of quantitative assumptions, processes, and methodologies for system and asset modeling. Identifying and executing creative approaches to evaluating energy infrastructure benefits and costs as well as risks and riskmitigation; Contributing to written reports and presentations developed as part of energy infrastructuretransactions. Advising clients on the value implications of energy and environmental policy and regulation within energy infrastructure transaction processes. Enhancing and contributing to commercial propositions, supporting businessdevelopmentand thought leadership activities. Successfully navigating and meeting deadlines that spanmultiple simultaneous projects. Additional information
