9-month fixed-term, part-time
basis. This role may have the opportunity to go permanent.
Responsibilities
Clinical testing and patient care:
conduct eye examinations and provide optometric services using OCT scans, HFA-3 Visual Field, integrated software management systems, auto-phoropters, autorefractors and non-contact tonometry in every store.
Testing cadence and setting:
operate in a 4-test-room store with a team of 3 other Optometrists; 20-minute testing intervals and a focus on myopia control and orthokeratology.
Community and service focus:
contribute to community eye care initiatives and uphold Specsavers standards of care.
Store Details
Roster:
Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays.
Store information:
4 test rooms in a bustling shopping centre, with a team of 3 other Optometrists; state-of-art equipment including OCT, Humphrey Field Analyzer III and topographer.
Team culture:
a culture built on teamwork, respect, accountability, clear communication, and a shared commitment to great patient care.
Patient demographic:
largely middle class, 45+ patients who are established.
