Position Summary

The Microsoft 365 Engineer leads the design, deployment, and management of a secure and scalable Microsoft 365 environment. The role aligns technical solutions with business goals and collaborates with senior leadership to support digital transformation and security initiatives across the organization. Duties and Responsibilities

Architect and implement Microsoft 365 environments for NAR, including Entra ID, Intune, and related services. Lead Active Directory migrations to Entra ID for modern identity and access management. Manage user lifecycle processes (onboarding and offboarding) and automate workflows in partnership with HR and Security. Refine and enforce security policies using Microsoft Defender and Purview (including DLP, email, and endpoint security). Manage Microsoft 365 services: Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, and Copilot integrations. Support and resolve escalated M365-related service desk tickets. Drive migration initiatives, such as Slack-to-Teams transitions. Secure the M365 email environment by properly setting up SMTP, DMARC, DKIM, SPF, etc. Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, and Data Science teams to ensure compliance, alignment, and innovation. Other duties, as assigned. Qualifications

5–10 years of hands-on experience as a Microsoft 365 Administrator or Engineer. Deep expertise in Microsoft 365, Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), and Intune. Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration. Proven experience managing environments with 500+ users. Demonstrated ability to work independently and make recommendations to management. Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with users and leadership. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft security and compliance frameworks. Experience with implementing zero-trust security architectures. Strong troubleshooting skills for Microsoft 365 cloud and hybrid environments. Familiarity with ITIL or similar service management frameworks. Excellent documentation, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate. Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot and AI-driven productivity tools. Experience with VMWare, Hyper-V, and virtual environments. NAR is currently on a hybrid schedule and in the office 3 days a week. NAR provides comprehensive benefits including health/dental/vision insurance.
