HealthTECH Resources is seeking an Epic Grand Central Analyst specializing in Registration/Grand Central/Prelude for a direct hire placement with a premier healthcare system in the Honolulu, Hawaii area. This is an on-island opportunity for a healthcare IT professional with strong Epic experience and patient flow management expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and optimize preadmission, admission, and registration workflows across multiple facilities Manage bed assignment systems and Transfer Center request processes Configure and maintain patient transfer, update, and discharge workflows within Epic modules Develop and implement capacity planning strategies and workqueue rules Design and generate operational reports to support registration and patient flow metrics Provide system security administration and user access management Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to enhance MyChart patient portal functionality Lead system integration projects and provide advanced analysis for process improvements Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Sciences, Computer Science, or related field (4 years comparable experience may substitute) Current Prelude and Grand Central certification required Minimum 3 years of healthcare information systems experience in at least two areas: application design, implementation, support, system integration, or performance optimization Demonstrated experience with Epic registration modules and multi-facility environments Prior leadership experience managing IT projects and assignments Strong understanding of hospital operations, clinical workflows, and healthcare technology infrastructure Training or experience in advanced analysis and design techniques Deep knowledge of telecommunications, networks, or client operations
